I have been practicing masonry for 25 years now. I have worked on projects in Ontario Canada, North Carolina and my home here in Buffalo and the surrounding area. I am continually researching historic techniques and adapting them to a modern practice to raise the bar for masonry quality. With years of experience dismantling failed masonry in order to repair it, I am continually frustrated by what I see in the trade. Having gotten to see first hand the mistakes made and the results of these mistakes, I have learned how to avoid them. Oftentimes it's a small amount of additional effort for a huge amount gained. As the saying goes "A stitch in time saves nine." When companies cut corners the work doesn't last and this hurts the industry as a whole because people no longer want to invest in masonry if it doesn't live up to it's legacy of being long lasting. I pride myself on using superior techniques with superior materials to deliver superior results. We don't cut corners, we build them.
